Manolete, tapeo relajao
It was about time to visit this trendy tapas bar with a nice terrace under the arches of Passeig Isabel II. Well decorated, tasty tapas, and a very attentive staff.
We started with some appetizers: Montadito de ensaladilla rusa con mermelada de pimiento del piquillo, Iberian ham, homemade croquettes and their salmorejo cordobés.
Their blockbusters are the tasty tartar of salmon on a bed of avocado, and a delicious grilled octopus on a bed of hummus.
Make some room for their yummy desserts (chocolate lovers like me will love them for sure). Highly recommended!
We particularly liked the fact that their chef is from El Puerto de Santa María in Andalusia.
WHERE: Passeig Isabel II, 2. “Barceloneta” metro station [L4]. Tue-Sat 1 pm-3:30 pm, 7:30 pm-11:30 pm. Sun 12:30-4:30 pm
