Spice Café, the best carrot cake in town
We found Spice Café just browsing on the Internet and decided to find out what made this place special.
This is the best carrot cake in town. It’s perfectly moist, spongy and very flavorful with grated carrots, walnuts and cinnamon. The cream cheese frosting is not too sweet (we’re still drooling), which is perfect! We take our hats off to you, Isidre. Besides their amazing carrot cake and other homemade cakes (nicely displayed in a wooden counter), this cozy cafeteria offers flavored lattes, mochas, ginger beer and organic fruit juices.
There are English storytimes for children with native English speakers, and Conversation Cup for adults to practice either English or Spanish in a casual atmosphere. You’re doing great, Lee!
We love their antique butcher’s wooden block table. The cake demand is getting popular! We’re trying the blueberry muffins next time for sure.
Spice Café also participated in the first ever Eat Street festival in Barcelona on April 12th, 2014.
