Bodega La Riera, vermouth and gigs

This bodega on the way down from our touristy Parc Güell has been a truly gem. First of all, ironically, there are no tourists (unless they’re lost). La Riera is a project run by Ateneu Popular de Vallcarca, a cultural non-profit organization.

This place is large enough to hold a long counter, several blackboards (list of salads, tapas and over 20 yummy bocadillos), a large mirror, barrels, a warehouse and a stage. Ohhh,… the stage where bands (any style) play amazing gigs.

You can drink in or take away.
