Celler Cal Marino: nice to meet you, Edu!
This place used to be a garage, but hushhh… This 4-year-old cellar welcomes you with a row of barrels of wine in the hall. A genuine place where you can still buy bulk wine. We recommend dry Priorat at reasonable price.
Great selection of local and international wines and craft beers. Celler Cal Marino is one of our favorite places for tapas in town. There is a good assortment of croquettes of thousand different flavors, awesome tapas, cheese, and this is one of the few places where you can find cecina, which is similar to jamón but made of salted, cured, air-dried beef. The best known cecina is from León, in Northwestern Spain.
We also recommend their xapines (individual deli tapas). Not sure what to order? Edu (owner) will surely make you a good recommendation. He is super friendly! and knows everything you need to know about good food in town.
You can drink in or take away. Celler Cal Marino also organizes live concerts and cheese tastings on and off. Check them out.
